Silvia
Patient Coordinator
Silvia, Patient Coordinator, has been with the Tampa plastic surgery practice of Dr. David Halpern since 2001. Silvia has extensive experience and has been in the medical and surgical field since 1996 and is a Certified Surgical Technician.
She was trained in the Tampa Bay area and has worked at most major Tampa Bay hospitals, including the Moffitt Cancer Center and Tampa General Hospital. While at Moffitt Cancer Center, Silvia worked extensively with the Plastic Surgery Service and the Melanoma Service, becoming highly trained in both areas.
She has also been on staff at Tampa General Hospital where she earned a Laser certification.

Silvia brings her vast operating room experience, impeccable style and sincere compassion to her work with patients at Tampa Bay Plastic Surgery. Silvia partners with each patient, before and after surgery, as your patient coordinator. She also assists in small office surgeries and provides the gentle reassurance her patients appreciate. Her keen eyes ensure every area of the practice operates smoothly, with the main focus and concern always on patients.
Patients find it easy to talk to and relate their concerns to Silvia, as honesty and genuine kindness and care for each individual patient so clearly defines Silvia. Her ability to gently communicate with patients, educating them on their plastic surgery, makes their surgical journeys smooth and enjoyable. .
